Alicia teasley

Greetings to all beings. I am Minister Alicia Lovelady-Teasley. I am a wife and proud mother of nine divinely illuminated beings and a minister at Wo'se Community Church of the Sacred African Way. I am a teacher in the community, a lover of learning, poetry, different languages, and reggae music. I enjoy continuing the legacy of my mother and grandmothers through meditative handwork: knitting, crocheting, and sewing. To be healthy, I pray and meditate daily, choose water as my beverage, try my hand at being a yogi, and dance. I began working with AABH when they had the health conference at KVIE featuring, among others, Dick Gregory and Queen Afua (whose work I was currently studying). This group has positively impacted my life and the lives of my children by keeping health and wellness on my mind with their seminars and conferences. My family looks for natural means to stay healthy. If anyone gets ill, even my littlest knows to rush to the tea cabinet, get plenty of water, and eat fruits and veggies.
